Dear Parents,
My DS has been placed on the reserve list for 13+ year 9 at City of London School. For context, he gave the assessments and interviews in year 8 (so not the usual 11+ or deferred entry 13+ route). I would like to know:
- How likely is the school to offer him a confirmed place from this reserve list? Roughly how many places open up during the year?
2.Will he have to sit the common entrance exams at the end of his school year to qualify for a confirmed place? I am not sure about this as the CLS said that they will reach out as soon as there is a place available.
The school has not shared guidance on any of the above hence reaching out.
I would greatly appreciate if other mums / parents could share their experience.
Many thanks in advance.
