My 5 year old is starting Y1 this September in a new school

our 5yo is starting Y1 this September she’s changing school because we moved to a new area; we visited the new school before summer holidays and she keeps asking if she will have anyone to play with.
our neighbours daughter attends the school already; so there’s a familiar face already
Any other tips for her settling in ?

In my daughter's class a girl started Year 1 from a different school.
Within a couple of weeks all the kids had pretty much forgotten she wasn't there in Reception.
Her mum was very chatty though and would chat to everyone which I think helped.
