School trousers for 15yo with muscly legs

After buying 10 pairs of school
trousers last year due to them splitting I am determined this school
year to find a pair that will last.

My 15 year old ds has quite muscly thighs after years of playing football but however has a tiny waist and has to use the adjustable waist to pull them right in. I have just bought 15-16 years in regular fit they are still too tight on the legs and massive on the waist. I know within a week of wearing them and kicking a ball round they will split 🤦♀️

I have tried adults suit trousers but they just don’t look right with his uniform and we still had the same problem.

Is there such a thing where you can buy extra wide leg width with a small waist? I am really hoping someone will be able to point in the right direction 🙏

I know you can definitely get them in men’s formal trousers, not sure about school trousers though. Muscle fit, or athletic fit are what you’re looking for.

My ds used to get skinny fit as they had elastane and had a bit of stretch in them

Get the right size for his legs and take them to an alterations tailor to make the legs shortened and the waist fit. It's not expensive.

Dc has just left school but we've had the same problem. I went up a size in next (m and s didn't seem to fit still) and then adjusted them.
