How can I find past O/A Level Curriculum + Exam Papers 1982 / 1983 / 1985 ...

Can you help!

Andy idea how I can find past O' Level and A' Level Curriculum/Course information and Exam Papers for 1982 / 1983 / 1985 ...

I am going down a rabbit hole!

I have found odd ones online before but only a few. Why btw?

Research and nieces/nephews would like to compare notes as they have their last ones today!

If anyone has any links would be a very happy bunny.

They must on record and available to view somewhere ...

There were a number of different examining boards. So it might be a big search. I still have my 40 year old certificates (I actually needed the originals recently for a job application ). Most of my O levels were with the University of Cambridge board but one was with the Southern Universities Joint Board.

this all predates internet /digitisation and common computer usage so unless someone bothered to scan them in they won’t be easy to track down

and so long ago that many companies would have thrown the originals out as not worth keeping

I have some O level papers from 1982, and A level (maths, fm, physics) from 1984.
Any subjects of particular interest?

I think mine were mainly London board.
Of the O levels you want I only did Englush Lang &Lit, and French. I'll check the board.

If very interested I can do better quality of individual pages.
Though just realised this is Nov 81 as we sat early to get it out of the way.

We have also been discussing all the texts for English Literature and French for both O and A Level.

I am not too bothered about Maths, Chemistry and Physics although I did thoroughly enjoy studying all three subjects and I do remember all my teachers with much fondness.

For P&P I had to pick 2 marriages and talk about how happy they were. Charlotte & Mr Collins, Mr&Mrs Bennet, and I think Lydia and Wickham.

I so wish I could actually remember ... some I can very clearly but others not so much ... hopefully it will come back bit by bit ...

1983 - Orwell’s 1984.

Here is O level from Cambridge board - but only certain years. Gives the idea tho. I've just been having a go at the French O level, not so easy!

I did A level French in 1982 (probs Cambs board too) and my texts were Voltaire’s Candide (fgs) Tartuffe (by Molière – think you had to do that one), Gide's La Porte Étroite and possibly Giradoux's La Guerre de Troie n'aura pas lieu.

For German the same year we studied Dürrematt’s Der Besuch, Böll’s Katharina Blum, Brecht’s Der Gute Mensch and Romeo un Julia auf dem Dorfe – author unknown.
ETA R&J was by Keller, hmm I did not recall that

A level maths/fm/physics and chemistry from 1987 would be good if anyone has…not sure if it was Oxford/Cambridge board or london…will check…
