Hi all, just looking for some insight into the following Prep schools in Gloucestershire:

  • Wycliffe College
  • Hopelands Prep
  • Westonbirt School

We're currently looking at preschool options for our son, with the view that he may then progress into the main school of one of the above. We've visited Wycliffe, Hopelands and Westonbirt and liked all 3 - but would really appreciate honest opinions from those who have children currently attending / have recently attended. Any thoughts very much appreciated, but keen to gain an insight into pastoral care / extra-curricular opportunities and 11+ preparation

Thanks ☺️

I cannot fault Hopelands. I have two children there, two delightfully happy children who are excelling with their learning and development both in the nursery setting and further up within the school. The staff are all lovely, and the children want to go in every day. The small size of the school gives a wonderful family feel and attention to detail. The parental community is strong and supportive. Hopelands is the friendliest and most welcome school I have come across.
