Wycliffe College or Hopelands Prep? Prep school experiences in Gloucestershire

Hi all, we're looking into nurseries for our son for next year (he's nearly 2) with the view that he might carry on through the main prep school. Does anyone have any experiences of these two schools?

We've been to early years open days for both and DS was very happy and confident in both settings. Hopelands is considerably smaller with fewer facilities, but had a lovely personal family feel. Wycliffe had seemingly better facilities, but have felt a bit more business-like in their communications.

I just want DS to be happy and do what's best for him. Any experiences of either school, both in early years and the main prep school, very much appreciated - thanks!

Hi I’ve had children go right through Wycliffe and it’s second to none for pastoral care and variety of experiences. I just love how kind and tolerant and diverse it is thanks to such a mixed intake (local/ international / military families). Humble and down to earth.
I have very able children and they’ve been challenged and pushed and achieve so much but also have lots of friends who are wonderfully supported with SEND issues.
Happy happy place.
