Hello, I am looking to get my dd in an all through schools and if she gets through all the schools mentioned above, I am having a hard time to understand which school will make sense more from academic as well as overall growth of a girl within 1 of these schools. Any parent with any opinion?

My daughter is quite smart. She already tries to read usingphonics, good with numbers and no challenge yet from any growth perspective.

These are very different schools with different demographics and the choice will depend on your situation and priorities/preferences e.g. girls vs co-ed etc.

My DD sat 4+ for NHEHS and SHHS a while ago as well as other N London selective schools, but not Highgate. SHHS reading and social expectations were higher than NHE but it may have changed since then, with headteachers leaving and priorities shifting during and after Covid.

I think it's better visiting the schools maybe a couple of times to get your own gut feeling. I didn't base my first choice on academics only (neither NHE nor SHHS was my first choice).

And choosing well at 4+ doesn't necessarily mean the school will be right for the child until 18. DD got offers from 11 selective and superselective schools in top 25 of the rankings and went to one of them, but developed very sporty and musical so we had to re-consider our initial choice when she got older.

We shortlisted these as it was easier for us to commute to work and all 3 are through schools
