Choosing schools in South West London

Good afternoon, I’ve just started to looking at secondary schools for my DD who is currently in Year 4 at a prep.

She is reasonably academic (CATs average 120+) highly emotionally intelligent but lacks confidence. I’d love to find her a school that’s nurturing, fun, open to discussions and presentations and not the classic “hot house” but academic strong. One that celebrates introverts…

any suggestions would be gratefully received.
thanks

What has the prep suggested?

Do you want single sex or co-ed?

And what exactly do you mean by a hot house? No I'm not being obtuse! The term is bandied round quite a lot, and seems to refer to the schools that get good academic results. A lot of that is down to how selective they are at 11+, and then they expect the girls who do well enough to secure a place to be able to keep up. Those who have been extensively tutored for 11+ sometimes find that hard, and feel pressurised.

The first schools that came to mind were Streatham and Clapham High (not as quirky as under the old head) and Francis Holland Sloane Square (always seems genuinely concerned about the amount of pressure that girls face)
