Hi there! I am preparing for upcoming entrance test 16+. Could you please provide guidance on which two subjects I should choose for registration? I understand that most interviews will focus on those subjects. Additionally, I would like to know how to prepare effectively for them. What should I expect the general written assessment to be like? Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Presumably the subjects you will be interviewed on will be the ones you want to do for A level ( or higher level IB)?
I have seen the general paper- I'm not sure you can prepare for it really to be honest- it is very 'general' and is more about critical thinking etc than actual knowledge.

@vivalasviva Thanks.... hope I make it to some good school.

have you looked at the website? You have to sit tests in English language, Maths and a general paper. There's no choice. It says the tests are on the GCSE syllabus so no past papers are provided.

As for which subjects you register - these are the subjects you wish to study to A level. What do you want to study? No one can advise you on here.

Honestly just google it and phone the school with any questions.
