I have Alevels & an NVQ in Early years childcare & education, What would I need to do to be a teacher?

realised that after I posted link - just knew about that course as I am hoping to go to that uni in sept - will try and find something in Norfolk for you dear. so sorry things are not working out. x

i'd approach your local council though katymac the funds from central government will go to local councils first and ime they don't use it well

A degree in education or another curriculum subject (or near curriculum subject). Then if you don't have a B Ed you would need a PGCE or a GTP or Scitts (sp?)

so about 4 years of full time

I went into teaching as a mature candidate and it was one of the best things that I have ever done
