School Uniform - Summer - Help sourcing cheaper suppliers than the official school outfitters

Can anyone help with suggestions for places to look for summer school uniform.

I think I have been able to source summer dresses in the right style from M&S (almost 1/3 price of that which the outfitters charge), but I'm failing to find a Panama style hat with red band.
Any ideas for hat suppliers?

find someone with a daughter who's just left?

though postage may be pricey

John Lewis supply uniforms for or compatible with schools local to each branch. If you call the branch and ask for the school uniform department, they could tell you whether they supply an appropriate hat. Or you could buy any Panama hat from their school range, and replace the band with a piece of ribbon from the Haberdashery dept.
