I have just accepted a place at a new school for September.

No more interfering head, no more being told off for talking at lunch time, no more inconsistent discipline, I AM SO HAPPY! . I just thought I'd share this lovely news with you. Thankyou for putting up with my moans about the school. You have kept me sane. Roll on September! . It's not a boys boarding school!

where's he going?

avenanap · 04/07/2008 01:01

New school where he can be a boy and climb trees and run around. He leaves tomorrow. I'm so happy. They've lost 33% of the children in 1 year. Quite an achievement! He's off to a grammar school. Lovely head. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

that sounds fab. it's the sort of school i'd like ds to go to but would also like a school where they don't do sats. think i'm asking for the non-existent

Congratulations!

Hope it works out well for him - is he excited too? I know it would be difficult for it to be worse than the old school but I hope it is very very much better .

He's finished!!!!! They still do sats though but have an adventure playground for the children and an area to dig and climb trees. Mid morning snack is fruit, juice and biscuits. Lunch is a choice of about 5 different things. Sounds like boy heaven! The head's going to fit philosophy into the curriculum for ds. Loads of clubs. Ihe can't wait.
