Are adults equipped to help children stay safe online?

At VotesforSchools we get 500,000 children debating and voting each week on a topical issue. By making resources for teachers, we make sure they are informed, curious and heard on a range of pressing issues.

For Safer Internet Day we are asking our children (aged) 7-11: “Do adults have the tools to teach you about the online world?” and 11-16: “Are adults equipped to teach you about the online world?”.

We expect to have 50,000 children vote on this issue, and would LOVE to tell them what parents' think. Can you share your thoughts?

"Adults" aren't one person though.

I might feel equipped, my dh might not. My brother might, my SiL might not.

We can't answer for "adults" as there are millions of us.
