Magdalen College School (MCS) for girls in Sixthform

I am hoping to hear about experiences of girls entering Sixthform at MCS. We were at the Open Day and our daughter went through admission with a positive outcome. Now we have to decide! Academic excellence and success is well documented from official sources, but it would be good to hear about experiences. I see also the social side of this, including the relevance of feeling comfortable, so I wonder how the journey is for girls in that they enter an existing social structure from the middle school boys when they were among themselves. Also, are the opportunities paying out for the girls or do they end up being in the background? Thank you so much for any comments and thoughts, I very much appreciate this, and I would be very happy to hear from both parents of girls and boys.

As far as I’m aware, the boys absolutely love the girls!!
I also hear that in lesson the girls are treated well. I know nothing about extracurricular unfortunately.

my daughter is looking at applying for 2025. I was wondering if you could tell me what type of questions they asked in the interview, how was the verbal reasoning etc. Our children are both at an all girls school at the moment and I can't lie to you, I'm not exactly sure about putting my youngest daughter there for 2025 but she is really keen on going. We've heard many negative things concerning the environment ( boys treat girls poorly, people outside Magdalen College School attack them on nights out etc ). Im not sure about if i want that type of environment her judging as my oldest daughter is happy at an all girls sixth form but if that's what she wants i can't force her not to apply. If you could please advise me on ways for her to prepare that would be great. If you have more questions please do ask as I'm friends with many mums there and have heard many stuff ( as well as both daughters hearing stuff from friends/ friend's siblings) :)
