Blowing the yolk and white out of an egg....

Hi could you help me here please. Have been asked to bring in 2 x large empty eggs to school. Can you give me the quickest and most fragile way of doing this.

I used to do this as a kid - I havee to say I remember it being qite tricky but basically just a case of a hole in the top and bottom, (a few mm), and blowing!! A goose egg is bigger and I think stronger. Otherwise free range stronger as they have more stuff to peck on

You need one big hole, one small hole, blow through the small hole (don't suck!). If it doesn't seem to be coming out, get a skewer or something and waggle it round inside the egg to break up the yolk and white a bit.

Does anyone know why it works? I can't reconcile the small hole and big sac thingy, but actually personally I never could which is probably why yoga birth didn't work for me

You break up the egg inside the shell then it all comes out in bits.

Yeah but when you don't break the sac - how on earth does it get through the hole then?

You have to prick the yolk sac, otherwise it stayes as a ball, and you will not be able to get it out

ah. I'm sure it's come out intact before. I never intentionally broke the sac, that is...hmm. Thanks MB ~I will watch it carefully next time. I do tend to turn purple when trying though.
