Currently looking at colleges and sixth forms with my son for A level courses next year, however we visited City of Westminster college and found they have a music course which he would really enjoy.
The college has great facilities but it just seemed a bit rough, it is also in a bit of a dodgy area so although the course sounds great we are worried the college might not be a good fit for him as he is a shy quiet type.
Does anyone know the college at all? I'd really like to hear the good and bad.
The course is a two year UAL level 3 extended diploma in music worth three A levels if passed. For A levels he is looking at a couple of science subjects and music, he has a couple of ideas for the future but nothing concrete so he's having a bit of a dilemma trying to decide which way to go.
Does anyone have any experience with this course? I'm just wondering if it's worth doing or if he should concentrate on A levels for now?
