What do people think about the merge? I watched a video on Headington School website saying that they will stay a girl school. What will happen to the boys currently at Rye St Antony?
My understanding is that Rye is not selective and not very academic, whereas Headington Girls is.

I’m a little surprised, I’ve looked at both prep schools for my children before but don’t know much about them. Isn’t Rye St.Anthony’s Catholic?
I think it’s a little sad that most small prep schools are struggling to survive now as there will be less choice for parents, plus I’ve always liked the feeling smaller preps schools have.

I honestly don’t know why they decided to go with all boys for prep as I’d imagine many parent who chose it for single sex aspects will leave! (since one school was only girls and the other was girls seniors there appears to be more single sex ethos than coed!)
