How will we know if RAAC is a danger to our own kids?

If there was a critical risk to our children's lives if the Tories didn't repair 300-400 schools a year

And they didn't.

Then there are thousands of crumbling schools by now aren't there?

How will we know if our own children's school is or isn't one of them?

If it's a fee-paying school?

If it's a "Free School" or academy run by Tory donors is it safe?

Rishi Sunak said he'd diverted funding from deprived areas to prosperous ones didn't he? So are our kids safe if they go to school somewhere leafy?

Does anybody know?

If you know you've got RAAC

If you know it's more than 30 years old

If you know it hasn't been properly checked since 2018 or possibly not even then.

Then how do you know it's safe?

It's a fiasco isn't it?

@verdantverdure Yes. It’s a classic politics over common sense. In the past LAs designed and built schools and had their own architects and engineers. I’m not sure why they don’t still have the working drawings and contracts for these schools.

Just find it strange that when the tories cancelled the building new schools labour
knew about the problems and dangers of RAAC but never made a fuss till now
