Some of us are mums who have had really bad experiences at Steiner school.
Many of these experiences we have come to realise, were because the schools are rooted in a spiritual, occult religion called anthroposophy, which the schools hide in a cult-like way.

Eva/Sune is a 60 year old anthroposophist, who follows critics around the nternet, trying to stop them telling the truth about Steiner schools.
He complictes things, because he is long winded and obscure.

but then so is Steiner.

and is anthropathy racist (from very brief skim) would a steiner school welcome my mixed race son. Not sure there are any round my way anyway but would be interested.

Not sure whether what the founder thought was relevant (I think Baden Powell had a few dubious views of his own but I don't have a problme with the scouts) but what they currently practice is.

Kew- I would love to convince the wider world about Steiner's racism, firstly.

But all the other stuff is so wild and out there, it's fun to convince people of that maddness too.

And I would love to convince people of their deceptions too.

Kew, Steiner's beliefs were based in a theory of evelution , that some races are spiritually superior to others. The white Aryan race being the most superior.

But yes- they'll welcome you probably, but consider anyone not white a s spiritually inferior.

I am a fan of steiner waldorf education, I have masses of first hand personal experience. kewcumber I would urge you to stay clear of this thread, I am watching it like a dreadful compulsive soap opera, gawd knows why I have loads to do..
the people on this thread are fairly extreme and they are making it fairly impossible to trust/debate with/understand.
I am confident that any of the mainstream steiner folk I know would not engage in this debate, not because they 'go quiet' but because of the attacking nature of some posters, it's just not very steinesque!
there are plenty of other reasonable steiner debates in the mn archives though.

It doesn't really matter PP as there isn't a school close enough for me to be seriously considering it. I am more mesmerised by the style of posting of the opposing sides.

Yes, there are some extreme views here.

And I'm the first to admit, there are good things about Steiner, I did send my kids there for three years, and clung on , desperate to make it work, and not see what was becoming more and more blindingly obvious.

What i really really can't understand, is how, when the things about race, and the other really bonkersstuff about Atlantis and gnomes, spirits , akarshik record etc, are put to some pro-Steiner people, thhey either, like eva and lush, try to explain it away, or don't know /don't care.

Of course. Whether he's mixed or not is completely irrelevant to whether he's accepted or not at a Steiner Waldorf school. In the U.K. there may be an economical issue as the schools charge a fee, as they are not state financed the way all Waldorf Steiner schools are in for example Sweden. But they try to help sorting out and solve the fee issue if you contact them.

All Waldorf Steiner schools in the U.K. are linked to from here (down left side of the page, names, addresses, tel nr). Just call them and ask what you want to know.

3.Unsubstantiated claims based around unsubstantiated quotations
4.Attacks upon innocent children just because their parents have chosen to send them to a Steiner School

OK, I understand you will go back to the moderators and ask them to remove this mistake of a "double identity"- but Fugee, please how many more mistakes are to come out of the woodwork. You and your friends display an alarming rush to do things- causing errors such as this and worse of all, your lack of research before sending your children to Steiner School.

northernrefugee has actually inspired me to read more of his works/lectures and I can't thank her enough for that. I even tried to read one of the lectures from a link she had posted on this thread and gosh it was hard going....so I have bookmarked it for later.
