Hi,

Please help with suggestions. Needing recommendations on private school which is open to SEN. Only 1 DD, slightly behind at school but loves music, drama, STEM and animals. She is a bright/social girl but need pastoral support due to autism/adhd and can see this increasing with complexities of girl friendships. Coping in mainstream but not thriving. No ECHP.

We are now in a position where we can move due to job changes so totally flexible in area but ideally M4/M5/M40 corridors but open to midlands/Cheshire too.

Happy with girls or coed, ideally sixth form but not a deal breaker. Really want a family feel and mainly day pupils where pastoral care is amazing and not a hot house. She is currently in Yr5 so can move in yr6 or yr7.

Help! We've looked at a couple of local schools around Berkshire where we currently live but despite them having a Learning Support department didn't seem to be very interested on the open days so feeling very disheartened.

Hi @SENMinefield , we are in similar situation and daughter is year 2 and planning to move her to independent all through school with good SEN provision. So wanted to check did you have any update?
Excellent suggestions from everyone but we need to commute to london 3-4 times a week so we have one extra parameter of commute time. Thank you

Monkton in Bath totally fits your remit.

@SENMinefield did you view any that ended up as front runners? What did you make of some of the schools in this thead/where did you end up? Thanks.
