Very proud moment for dd just had to tell someone

She has just got her 400 metres badge in swimming (16 lenghts). She's so proud of herself and I'm so pleased for her.

That's a swimmimg milestone

So happy that she can't wait till half-term when she's going to stay with Granny. Wants Granny to take her swimming so she can try to swim 400 metres again with Granny watching.

Plus the self motivation as she really had to push herself to get that far but as she put it: "it was really hard but I kept going as I really wanted to do my 400 metres and now I feel so proud of myself".

It's so great when they just keep going isn't it

I help with reading in school so was very luckly to get to see her showing her class the certifcate.
The pride in her face as she showed the class was just wonderful, then after school showing everyone in the playground. She was just welling over with pride.
