Independent investigation into a complaint we have made about 6th form college- advice please!

The college has commissioned an independent investigation into a complaint that we have made about an incident that wasn’t handled well at college, and the poor response from the head.
it’s quite a big complaint.

the guy doing it is from a group that does this sort of thing, together with governance training. On the website that I’ve just found, it says they will interview everyone involved. I’ve just heard the investigation is over and we will be getting an email regarding the outcome.

The thing is, we weren’t interviewed, nor did they ask to interview our child.
Would you expect to be interviewed or would you expect that your complaint was enough?
it seems the remit is to find out the veracity of our complaint.

Hi, I am looking in to a similar problem. College wasted our son’s two years. We made complaint that the teacher given to the class was incompetent.
college call us to listen our side but soon we realise they just checking their own guidelines that how secure the college was to defend themselves.
it was nothing to resolve or sort the issue but to secure the college.
the people sitting in the college were way to highly trained than parents.
They laugh in critical ways when you give answer wrong way. I feel so bad that I was about to through up.
the education is no more in benefit to you but a money generator to the businesses.
college and staff blamed your child to proof that problem is not in them but in our children.
Please if some one can help me as well how deal college’s complaint.
