Independent school for DS in or around Salisbury - Godolphin?

We assumed Godolphin would be the answer to save her moving again for secondary but the prep seems so tiny that I think we’d rather go for a bigger prep to start and then maybe move to Godolphin for secondary. Any current parents who can recommend or not?

DS or DD? I'm not googling but I thought Godolphin was a girls' school.

Oh god, yes DD!! Thank you for spotting that.

It’s gentle and nurturing with good class sizes, and very different to the main school so it worked well for our dd to stay on. Are there any other factors you are looking for as do you live in Salisbury itself? Do pm me if want more info.

Thank you @FairlyIncognito - not in Salisbury yet. Hoping to move in time for school start next September so visiting schools at the moment to get our names down. Lovely to hear you like it. The class sizes in the prep do seem small though the head didn’t say exactly how small - do you know how many in current year 2 and 4 for example? The only reason it concerns me is that we’re moving from another small school where my elder daughter has had a few friendship issues because of the lack of friend choice in her year.

i Think any friendship issues would be well supervised as it has a lovely atmosphere from my experience and DD loved all her friends there, most of whom continued up the school (a few left for the grammar school) I’m afraid I’m not up to date on current class sizes though so worth asking them .

My DD is in the prep and enjoys every moment of it. It’s small but that’s been a good thing.
