HABS Girls & NLCS 4+ Assessments

Hi,

We are considering applying for 4+ at HABS girls / NLCS.

Does anyone have any tips on what to expect?
I have read through various threads but can't find any specifics? Appreciate no one really knows but any potential direction/information would be great, specifically from previous parents who have gone through the process.

Feel free to private message me or post on this thread :)

For example - I understand they need to be able to draw certain things or make things out of play dough etc. Any ideas what is expected in drawing level/examples and what they should be able to make with play dough?

Any information you can give, I would be grateful!

Thank you.

Hi Everyone,
Not sure if anyone is still active on here byt would love some advice pls. My daughter had been offered a place to start yr 3 next year. We are over the moon but have one reservation. She is really able at gymnastics and at the moment her current school has a gym squad from year 1. I see there is one from yr 3 in Habs but how are children selected and when are they assessed...once in the year or throughout every term? If so when...at the start or at the end of term. I know it sounds a bit odd but this is really important to my dd and may affect the choice we take.
Thanks Caroline x

In the senior, assessments for squads take place just in September. I would suggest you ask the school about the junior. There was a gym teacher Mrs Berman who then set up EJB gymnastics as an independent company which runs at the boys school and takes girls but I'm not sure from what age.
