Has anyone had any experience of green or eco type schools overseas? I initially heard about the green school in Bali and it looks amazing but then some reviews have put me off as it seems to be full of rich kids only and is a money making thing, though I could be wrong. I'm interested in leaving the formal education system for a year to travel with the kids and let them learn in a different way - either through an alternative schooling system or another way, if there is one? World schooling? Just would like their (and my) life to be free of the rigidness of the UK schooling system for a bit and for them to be outside more playing and spending more time with us less stressed. I don't know if it would ever happen! But am just researching now. So yes, any recommendations for some form of alternative education overseas gratefully received....or if anyone has taken their kids out of 'the system' for a year, how was it?
