guidance on adult / child ratio at breaktimes

We're having a string of issues regarding school supervision at breaktimes. Is there any official guidance on adult / child ratios and / or minimum number of adults who should be on duty at breaktimes? Primary school.
Thanks.

You have to have at least 1 teacher with qts, then we also 2 TAs out as well. But no children allowed out into playground until the teacher is out.

At our infants school we have 1:30 including a teacher

So at the moment 120 children in playground with 1 teacher and 3 TAs.

After Easter it will be 200 with 1 teacher and 5 TAs

At the junior school, as far as I know, it's 1 teacher and possibly 1 TA for 240 children.

Have no idea of any guidelines

post Christmas bump - am surprised if there are no guidelines! Thanks.

Coo. Hasn't the world changed? Back in the seventies there were no adults on duty in the playground at either my primary or secondary schools. Thank you, lawyers!

In our Infant school we have 1 teacher and 5 TAs to approximately 180 children.

Obviously lunchtime cover is different, have no idea what the ratio is for that - sorry.
