I asked this in the primary forum but I haven't had any luck there yet. Does anyone have experience of Dunannie pre-prep (Bedales School)? Or Dunhurst prep? (Bedales school in Hampshire.) Do they have high academic standards and move the curriculum along quickly for those ready and able or do they tend to take a more relaxed approach? We are looking for a school that has a more liberal ethos in day to day rules and uniform etc and has a lot of outdoor and hands on learning, but also where the children that are ready to engage with formal learning are encouraged.
