Of course we are not but was v interested to note the the Sunday Times league table of private schools as provided by Xenia (who else ) is dominated by schools in the South East especially at the top.

Northerners are clever enough to moan about it being grim oop north and thus dissuade rash of housebuilding over our still green and pleasant lands. Keeping population densities on the whole lower and therefore choice of school generally more dependent on distance than other criteria, and therefore more egalitarian.
