I applied for an access to HE course back at the beginning of July. Had an email back saying I had a conditional place, I accepted and then was told that the tutor of the course would be calling from the 24th August to enrol Hadn’t been called by the 27th so I called them and was told they had a new system to enrol online and it was taking longer than anticipated but I would definitely receive a call.
Still hasn’t called by yesterday so I emailed student services. They replied and said they would forward the curricular manager and titled the email “late application”. Finally was called by the curricular manager who said the course I wanted was now full but she could squeeze me in as the last person on a similar course. Both courses are accepted by the university course I’m aiming for but I would rather have the course that is more specifically targeted at the career I am studying for. What would you do? I feel like they forgot to call me and by the time I reminded them the course was already full?
