The Registration (Independent sch) form at School is asking which others schools we are applying to?

We are registering for 13+ and the form is asking what other schools we are applying to...

I am not sure if I need to put all schools I am applying to? Why would this question be on the registration form?

They have a "pecking order" among the schools. A mid-ranking school might be the best of the bunch among the schools being applied to for a mid-ranking candidate, but might be the backup option/fallback position for a candidate aspiring to the very best schools. They want to know where they stand.

Be honest. My impression was that Registrars talk to each other.

Also that co-ed schools like to see you apply to other co-eds. It helps them understand that co-education is a priority.
