Hi. My DD has been invited to attend an interview at the City of London School for Girls. We've been told that the interview will last for around 15-20 minutes. Anyone out there with an experience, any tips, etc? I'd be extremely grateful for any insight!!

I don't know much about the interview but if you get an offer you may need to accept it very quickly - see the last two years threads about City Girls 'exploding offers'!

Offers exploded quickly in Feb 2017, came out the day before half-term and were sold out by the Wednesday after half-term, i.e., 12 calendar days.

Offers exploded very quickly in Feb 2018, came out the day before half-term and were gone by mid-day the Tuesday of half term, i.e., 3.5 calendar days.

They changed the process last year, offers came out the day after half-term, i.e., 10 days after most other girls schools offers. I believe they also made far fewer offers last year as I didn't read anything about them exploding early.

It's anybody's guess what they'll do this year so be ready to be quick if you really want the place.
