Safeguarding is old hat now, apparently. especially where girls are concerned.

One child is raped in school in every school day.
In primary schools alone, three sexual assaults are reported to the police every school day

These numbers are shocking!!
As are the consequences for the victim (having to go back to school in the same classroom than their aggressor, having to go to the same secondary etc...)

Someone on the AIBU thread I started on this accused me of "hyperbole" for suggesting that girls are more at risk than ever before.

I have long experience of working with schools and this kind of evidence is unprecedented in my experience.

Why is this not being spoken about more? Is it because (rightly) parents don't want to name the victim publicly so all their complaints get dealt with behind closed doors?

I am shocked.

I can't find your other thread - can you link please?

I think that you should tell OFSTED immediately. They’re not going to be happy.
