I would say my year 6 teacher , really strict I even got sent to the head teacher for the first time in my school life for hardly anything.

Primary school teacher used humiliating punishments on children who got questions wrong. I was hopeless at maths and spent most of the lessons stood on my chair. Obviously this instilled a lifelong fear of numbers and I still freeze when confronted by everyday sums.

If you’re reading this Mrs. W, fuck you.

My Year 7 French teacher (in France). I'd just moved from England, and first lesson there she sent me out of the room because my French wasn't good enough. The next lesson she sent me out because my handwriting was wrong. The third lesson she sent me out as soon as I walked in and refused to teach me.

I got moved to a different class with a different teacher who, although she had no idea what to do with me, was lovely. She taught me Years 7, 8 and 10. In my GCSE equivalent, I got one of the highest grades in the class.

My PE teacher, who was the stereotypical PE teacher bitch. She despised me when I arrived because I was no good at PE and games, but she didn't know how to handle it when it turned out I was good at swimming. Apparently at the first swimming lesson she was having a lovely time sneering because she couldn't see me at the side of the pool and announced that I must be hiding in the changing room, till someone pointed out that I was already in the water. With hindsight, it's really quite extraordinary that the school employed her - she was only interested in working with the kids who were in the teams and used to leave the rest of us standing around the field killing time. If any other teacher had behaved like that, they'd be out on their ear.

She was also my form teacher when I first arrived. For complicated reasons I'd missed a term's education and skipped two year groups, yet she thought it appropriate to sneer publicly at the lowish mark I got in one subject when she read out details at the end of the first term. Another teacher subsequently told me that she'd campaigned to have me put back a year and was mortified when I came fourth at the end of the year and no-one would support her.

The Deputy Head at my secondary school who made me write out the school rules 100 times for no reason other than she could, she was always making my life a misery as I’d had the afront to prove her school had bullies, she also happened to be one of them. Nearly all the other teachers were amazing. I remember thinking the PE teacher who kept a register of our periods was a sadistic twat at first, but actually over time I realised most girls did a lot more to annoy her. She managed to help me find my sports that I could excel in and did so with many others too. I also had great male teachers finding opportunities to support girls in physics and chemistry despite being in a state school that had 7 girls and 21 boys in each class and the Deputy Head trying to funnel all girls into combined science where the curriculum allowed them to make ‘make-up’ and left them another option to do childcare which was in her opinion surely what all girls from our ‘sort of background’ needed to be able to get out of life. Confused

Gosh - that was cathartic!

One of the teachers that took us on residential. She called my mum in to complain about my awful behaviour and described me as "a bitch in heat". What she could never be bothered to find out was that 5 of my classmates sexually assaulted me during the residential, but I guess it was too much hassle to find out why my behaviour completely changed. I don't think she wanted to know either tbh as I blew up and hinted at stuff.
Then the next year she told my parents i was useless at maths, I would never pass the exam etc. They asked her to tutor me and she said she will let them know through me. Thank fuck she never did as I couldn't stand her... but it showed she was more than ready to let me fail. I didn't, and I'm still good at maths now.

An English teacher that I think we just clashed. Again I'd fail, she was convinced I never read a book in my life and I was stupid and useless. Didn't fail that one either, I actually got top marks and her face was a picture.

Not a teacher (well he was an university professor) , but he tutored me in maths. Two months in and his hands found their way under my jumper, at the same table with 5 other girls ffs!

The nasty, bitter bitch of a maths teacher who knew I was brand new in the school not understanding a word of the language. She had a real field day with me standing over me shouting at me and calling me an idiot and I couldn't say a word back. When I tried, she'd laugh and encouraged the other kids to laugh. Apparently she has always been disliked and feared but me being there enabled her to build a rapport with the others in mocking me.
She had a hard time going through a divorce and then was sacked but I couldn't have given less of a fuck when it happened.

I had a History teacher who told me I wouldn't amount to much. I had great delight in facing him on his son's Parents' Evening!

Pointlessfact · 24/02/2018 23:37

Most of them , easier to say which I like

madeyemoodysmum · 24/02/2018 23:41

French in seniors. absolute bastard who would humiliate kids that didn't get French. Me for example.

halfwitpicker · 24/02/2018 23:46

Why did all these shit, sadistic teachers work in education and why the fuck were they employed in the first place? Begs belief.

disneydatknee · 25/02/2018 00:01

My woodwork teacher in yr 9, he was really old and miserable. If you got something wrong he would make you go outside and count the squirrels.

MilesHuntsWig · 25/02/2018 00:25

The head of boys PE who had an affair with a 6th former and flatly denied it and claimed she was mentally ill. It seriously affected her. He was also a general twat.

The nun at primary school who sat my non-academic best mate under the “top of the class” list as she was never on it on what became known as “the dunce table”. She also piled on the pressure and played massive favourites. I was having meltdowns about homework aged 9, and if you weren’t from one of the better catholic families you were ignored. She only cared about netball and maths and was clearly nuts.

The teacher we had at same primary school who threw wooden board rubbers at us if he got angry.

The English teacher who played favourites, flirted with the underage boys, married a 6th former and told my mum she wanted her job.

The a level physics teacher who went for a fag in his office rather than teaching our lessons.

Various other incompetent idiots.

SirHumphreyMacdonald · 25/02/2018 19:56

My French teacher. Her attitude and nasty comments ensured I didn’t take languages as an option

MissWimpyDimple · 25/02/2018 20:38

Nasty year 3 teacher who only liked the blond kids.

Horrible bitch of a woman.
