Have you checked if your school provides toilet paper in the cubicles?

I've just found out that my local secondary school doesn't have paper in the cubicles for students. Instead they have a single paper dispenser in the communal hand washing area for all the cubicles. I'm left wondering how common this is. I'd never thought to ask my kids what the toilets were like before. It seams kids don't have the same right to dignity as adults.

Omg that is terrible.
reminds me of an experience in a middle of nowhere Czech republic train station where you paid the attendant the loo entry fee and she stoicly handed over a stingy few pieces of folded pink (!) paper.

Definitely raise this with the school.... Not on

FGS, that's ridiculous, what with that, gender neutral bogs and finger printing, what next!

That seems counter intuitive if it's an effort to save waste. Surely everyone takes more than they think they'll need to ensure they aren't caught short in the cubicle?!?!!!

That would have freaked me out at school, the loos were where we got bullied (I don't know why the bullies used to hang out there!)and frankly if I'd have had to collect loo roll before going into the toilet I'd have ended up never going during school time.

Dd2 said that loo roll, hand wash and paper towels were only ever provided at her school, when ousted were on the premises

Dd has gone to the school office numerous times to request soap and loo roll in the loos - she now carries hand sanitisers and a pack of tissues.

see, i'm that parent that would check out toilets on my school tour and I would want to know when and who has access to them. TP is the main item that I stockpile...hoard...in case of a zombie apocalypse, my neighbors will be asking me to lend them toilet paper.

Our local school provides it once per day. Sadly, thanks to ongoing tomfoolery, it doesn't last much beyond the morning tea break. Not much more they can do, realistically.
