AIBU to think that a school should be able to spell and use grammar?

Just got the following text from DS2 and DD's primary school. Am I being too picky, or should someone teaching Literacy (as they call English now) be literate? " Please can we respectively remind parents that, due to allergies, nuts are not allowed in school. Thank you."

If it was a text, could it have been a typo/predictive text fail? The fact they have the commas in the right place makes me think this is quite likely.

Rest assured, I don't think person who sends text to parents wouldn't be teaching. They are normally admin person.
