Who's taking dd to a North London Consortium exam tomorrow?

Yes, sounds risky to only do 1 or 2. We did do rather a lot compared to some but the point in our case is that dd is a state school who will give no help and advice at all really and being totally new to the independent system ourselves we had very little idea how it all worked and how likely it was she'd fit in anywhere - so felt we needed to cover the whole spectrum of academic levels! As ever dd2 will reap the benefits as we'll know (a bit) more about what we're doing.

L1 was at Habs juniors but slightly dyslexic, a rare combination I'm sure but she's also quite clever. So at 11 we thought we should sit her for other schools and had the same concerns, may be none would have her so she did about 6 I think but got in where she was after all. I'm still glad she had the back up of somewhere else.

My sister's area even has two schools which put their entrance tests on the same day so that you can't sit for both which seems pretty mean.
