Exams - do you ban your kids from going on social media around this time of year?

What are people's thoughts on social media and exams?

Kids spend all their time on the stuff and it's often seen as a distraction...Can you actually ban them from it in order to help with their revision? Or is that a battle you're never going to win?

Does anyone think social media can be used as a force for good to help students prepare for their exams? Are there any online resources or companies you'd recommend which are doing great stuff on social media to do with exam preparation?

Would be interested to hear people's experiences...

If you're a journalist researching an article, then you need to post in Media Requests.

If you are a parent looking for advice, then the usual etiquette is to describe your situation (ages of children) and your own experience (things you've tried, what worked and what didn't) before asking others to do the same.

There's a James Davey who works for Reuters.

I'm feeling kind and generous today, so here's a link to a recent thread which might help.

Thank you for the link - just what I was looking for...
