Any City of London Boys travelling in from Hertfordshire/NW London??

Hi all
First time poster looking for some advice from anyone whose son travels in to City of London Boys school from our general area who can give me some insight into the whole travelling experience (my son has been offered a place in 10+ 2016).

if at all possible you want a rail route that gets you to Blackfriars station as City School is a short distance along the Thames bank from Blackfriars, and there is a pedestrian (traffic free) walk way from Blackfriars Station to City School.

Thank you! Yes he'll either be going to St Pauls or Blackfriars.
We live in bushey so would be lovely to know some boys travelling from around this area.
