Conflicting information on fees in lieu of leaving school

Hello
I am hoping I can get some advice here. My DD had attended a school for quite a few years and transferred from the primary to secondary within the same school
A unexpected change in family circumstances and relocation led to me giving notice about two weeks into the new term of my intention to remove my child, that is I was two weeks past the deadline, I made an appointment with the HT to discuss my situation and she agreed that due the circumstances I should only pay this terms fees in full as DD left before half term which she put into writing
The problem is I have now received a letter from GDST demanding next term fees as well, how should I proceed

Just send them a copy of the agreement with the head, outline what you said here in a letter and leave it at that.
