Year 6 - What should I be asking this week at a school meeting about what they do in yr 6

there is a meeting to chat to new year 6 teacher about what our kids will be doing in year 6.

What should I be asking, looking out for?

Anything thats worrying you? Reading, homework? Whats the disapline rules? Outing planned? Info on new schools/visits... lots to choose.

We have one too.

How best to support? What topics they will be covering? Do they need any extra equipment etc

Will they be doing anything other than bloody SATs papers.......

From my experience it's about SATs as they do sod all in the Summer term.

How well prepared are they for the new Sats as they will be on the new curriculum. What format will they take and what are their expectations for your children.
