Looking at the grades and facilities it comes across as being a good school. However, it's a Christian Science school and I really don't go along with their beliefs, but school has said they don't teach Christian Science - I'm wondering if anyone has any experience of the school in this regard?

I went there what seems like a million years ago when it was still just a girls' school (before it merged with Fan Court boys's school). I was there for 4 years from 12-16 years. Looking back on it, I think that the religious philosphy had a greater impact that we all realised. After all, that was the overriding "ethos" of the place. I found it incredibly dull and narrow-minded. There was a stifled, precious atmosphere about the place, everyone was incredibly conservative (with a small and large c) but perhaps that was typical of private girls' schools at the time. I am sure it is different now and the building and grounds are beautiful. But the religious philosopy will have an effect on the place - I'm not saying that is a bad thing, but it needs to be taken into account.
