Fulham college boys and West London Free School

Hi, does anyone have any information on either of these schools? I was offered FC for my son who will start year 7 after we were not offered our preferred school. I haven't heard good things about it. WLFS seems to be popular at the moment and we're on a waiting list for that. I have been offered to have a look at FC next week, but I wonder if it's even worth going to see it. I'm worried that the behaviour and attitudes of the other kids will be detrimental to my son who is kind and considerate and quite sensitive. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there OP. We are just going to move this over to the Education topic as we feel you'll get more responses there.

Thanks

I wouldn't touch WLFS with a bargepole. Far too many changes of head and staff.

We live round the corner from FC and the boys are certainly 'lively'!

They have recently had a big 'rebrand' and the new head has been trying to keep the locals on side by circulating positive information about the school. However, there is a noticeable group of boys who appear to go into school for registration, but are then back on the bus going home (or somewhere else) at 9.20am!

Did you try Fulham Boys? Are they full, and if not is it too late to get on their waiting list?
