Schools in Southend on Sea, Essex

Anyone from around this area? Can you give me an idea what schools are like here. Heard that there are good schools particularly around the Thorpe Bay area.

What age are you looking for? The best infant/juniors in/around Thorpe Bay are Bournes Green, Sacred heart (Catholic). Thorpe Greenways is very good as well. My DS will go there.

Depends where you live. Are you in the Southchurch area?

We are not living in Southend area but it's something that we are thinking of in terms of schools. DD1 is 6 years old but we just want to know of anyones experiences with the schools there.
