Independent schools - where do I find the grade results?

I'm not sure if Independent schools are graded the same as State Schools for English, Maths and Science? The state grades are straightforward, but I'm unable to find out the grades for some of the independent schools which I'm now considering.

Some independent schools don't sit SATS so you won't see the same grades. You can have a look at the inspection reports but many prep schools use the 11+/CEE results as their "achievement", and you'll need to get these directly from the schools. They will usually be very happy to share them.
