School Admissions - working out distance from home to school

Anyone know an easy way or perhaps a website where you can work out exact distances between your house and a school?

If you have the addresses, just enter them into multimap and it will work it out for you.

Yes, i think its on directgov site. There is definitely a tool you can use to check which is your closest school to a post code and it gives distance. And it was a woman i spoke to on the phone at the schools admission dept at local council who told me to use it so i guess it should be ok!
