What questions should I be asking and what should I expect to hear fromt he teacher

If you are looking at secondary schools you could ask the teachers opinion on what kind of environment your child learns best?

Usual stuff you've asked from yR-y4, friendships, behaviour, maths, English.

Could ask:
Are they on target to reach equivalent of old 4b by the end of y6?
Are they showing aptitude/interest in any subject in particular?
Anything that needs special focus in next year to be ready for secondary?
