Anyone know what school-run time is like around Forest School, East London?

I had ruled this school off my list as a prep to consider for ds. Googlemaps says it would currently take me 17 mins to get there (but this is at 8 in the evening). I live literally right off N.Circ west from the school's location. Am I insane to consider a school commute basically completely on the North Circ. They seem to have lots of buses but nothing coming even vaguely this direction.

It's busy. Busy from Waterworks corner (the round about coming off the North Circular) to the school down Forest Road and then busy turning into Forest itself. While the traffic is busy, the journey might be much longer than 17 minutes. Let's say that traffic brings it up to 25min. Would that be ok? I'd give it a practice run on a normal school morning and "test it."

It is a lovely school.

Thank you for your reply. Yes it does indeed look lovely. Do you know if the majority of children who attend are all quite local and from the Islington bus-route direction? Have you heard of people going from a little further afield? (We are Bounds Green)

Walk from Snaresbrook Station. Easy.

Hmm, not sure that would be the easiest of tube journeys/make it any quicker..?

I live in the area and know the school by reputation, but I don't know where most of prep school pupils come from. It's a pain, but a dry run on a week day during morning rush hour is probably the only way to know for sure.
