I did Winnie the Witch a couple of years ago, but you do need stripy tights and a hat! My TA came as the little old lady in the gingerbread man (talc in hair, pinny, mop cap etc) and she had a cardboard gingerbread man in her pocket. She hid him in the classroom at different times of the day for the children to find - they loved it.

Other ones I've done... Burglar Bill's wife (stripy t-shirt, swag bag etc), and my favourite was Mrs Wobble the waitress (Alhberg happy familys), with mop hat and pinny again.... and a jelly on a plate.

thanks everyone
Gladbag- I like the little old lady one a lot; was also thinking of Mrs Wobble and trying to rememember whether fishing net was handy and if dd's roller skates would fit!
am off to check the dressing up basket downstairs but keep them coming...

Ok- have pinny but not mop cap.
Will go and text people who might have a mob cap...torn between gingerbread old woman and Mrs Wobble..
Also could do Funny Bones again which was white skeleton bits pinned to black top and trousers

whilst heavily pregnant was the cat who liked to hide in boexes with large box on and cat costume.. slightly tricky to sit down in..
