Got a note home saying ds will be given a plate and oasis to make a harvest plate., Hmmm, looked this up on the internet, never heard of one before.

Well I understand the concept, anyone got any good ideas for them or know any websites with some photo's to give me a better picture of what he should be creating?

I think you might have to ask the school. Are you supposed to arrange fruit/veg in an artistic way, do you think?

isn't a harvest plate a selection of food?

TenaLady · 03/10/2006 11:16

Well quite, I dont think its donating food but some kind of decoration to the plate. It will have an oasis too!! Gawd help me!

Autumn fruits and flowers.

Ripe apples, conkers, autumn leaves as main background. Corn dolly would be good if you can make one.

Teeny, tiny pumpkin if the plate is big enough.

Autumn wreaths can be good inspiration, just transfer the ideas to the plate instead.
