My ds is 3.4 and I am interested in a North London school (not a super competitive one). I didn't register him early enough and the parent tours for his year of entry (2016) have passed. I called the school and they won't put him on the assessment list. I was, however, told to contact the school after I had read the prospectus and they will put him on a waiting list (not sure what that practically means as I don't think there is a shortage of children).
Has anyone managed to convince a school to allow their child to attend assessment?
